Transparent football at "PapaDogs"

Anyone going to watch football at the beer and snack bar, “PapaDogs”, on Gran Canaria for the first time won’t believe their eyes.

Instead of watching a conventional TV or plasma screen, the fans will be looking at a 60" glass screen floating two metres above their heads. The picture is pin sharp - and it’s transparent.

"We are delighted to be one of the first businesses on Gran Canaria to display this technology", Santiago, who runs PapaDogs, explains. "You look at it and through it at the same time. And since the entire system costs about the same as a plasma screen, this aesthetic decision was easy for us to make. The HoloProTM doesn’t disrupt the appearance of the place, fits in with the atmosphere and is a real eyecatcher."

In addition, a program has been developed with dta, the Canarian HoloProTM distributor, which also makes good use of the time between the matches. During this time, music videos, information about events, hot dog offers and self-advertising are shown simultaneously in different windows on the HoloProTM.
